Article has some important points. It is not written at 6th grade level. I don't think it is at a level that most seniors will understand.

Just saw this tool for the first time. Good starting point; I will use the AACE guidelines rather than the ADA because they are tighter.

VNSNY now uses the 2009 ADA guidelines for fasting blood glucose. In the Green Zone it should be stated: Fasting blood glucose = 70 - 130 mg/dl
