Geriatric Pain Management Course
Last week to register for CHAMP's Geriatric Pain Management course beginning July 26, 2010.
The CHAMP Geriatric Pain Management course is proven to improve patient outcomes and quality of care. It is designed to give frontline home care managers the skills and tools they need to help their clinical team improve. They learn and apply best practices in pain management for home care patients including:
- Pain screening and intensity assessment
- Pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic pain relief
- Developing care plans for older persons with pain
- Communicating with physicians about pain issues
